Our Core Report
Career and Earnings Reports
Our core report is a Career and Earnings Assessment: an Industrial Psychology report that gives clear, concise earnings insight into a person's career – where it was heading, and where it is heading now.
Whether the matter is a Road Accident Fund claim, a divorce settlement or an unfair dismissal case, the underlying question is the same: what career path was this person realistically on, and what has changed? We answer it with individualised, evidence-based analysis benchmarked against comparator progression data for the actual occupation, qualification, sector and region.
Every report assesses:
- The realistic career and earnings path the person was on
- The path now available to them, taking account of injury, incapacity or changed circumstances where relevant
- The resulting impact on future earning potential, with contingencies addressed transparently
Where We Apply It
The same methodology, adapted to what each forum requires.
Supporting Services
Everything else needed to get earnings evidence in front of a court.
Joint Minutes
Where two Industrial Psychologists have reported in the same matter, the court and the Road Accident Fund frequently require a joint minute recording the points of agreement and the points that remain in dispute.
Spear collaborates directly with the opposing expert to produce these minutes, narrowing the issues before trial and, in many matters, removing the need for oral evidence on earnings altogether.
We prepare joint minutes:
- For filing in court proceedings
- On request from the Road Accident Fund
- Clearly separating agreed positions from areas of dispute
- With the reasoning behind each position set out transparently
Confirmatory Affidavits
Where a matter proceeds on default judgement, or where the court requires a report to be confirmed under oath, Spear commissions confirmatory affidavits in respect of our reports.
This allows the report to be placed before the court without the author needing to testify, which keeps unopposed and default matters moving without unnecessary delay or cost.
We provide:
- Commissioned confirmatory affidavits for our reports
- Support for default judgement applications
- Prompt turnaround so that court timelines are met
Actuarial Integration Support
While we do not replace actuarial work, every report includes a quantification summary designed to:
- Translate seamlessly into actuarial models
- Reduce ambiguity in assumptions
- Improve alignment between experts
